Race description
The Běh kolem Ameriky (Run Around Amerika) is the oldest forest running race in the Czech Republic and the third-oldest running race overall. It has been held since 1925 in the Amerika Forest Park in Písek. This off-road race has a history spanning more than 100 editions and offers a challenging 10.4 km course that has evolved over the years. It is popular with runners and local residents and is known for its history and atmosphere in a natural setting. It is organized by Atletika Písek, z.s., and is internationally recognized thanks to partnerships with towns in England and Germany.
