Běh cyklostezkou

Běh cyklostezkou is a traditional race held in Světlá nad Sázavou. The main race covers 5.2 km along the Sázava River on the cycle path to the corn mill in Mrzkovice and back. Runners compete in categories by age and gender, including a special category for married couples. Separate children’s races are held over different distances for various age groups. Participants can look forward to chip timing, commemorative medals, prizes for the top finishers, and refreshments at the finish and in the venue’s snack bar. In bad weather, sheltered facilities are available in the indoor tennis hall.

Registration for the main race: 12:00–14:30; registration for the children’s races: 12:00–12:30; children’s races start at 13:00. Light refreshments are available at the finish, with further refreshments available at the venue’s snack bar. In bad weather, facilities are available in the indoor tennis hall. New: a prize for breaking the course record, by gender. Raffle for participants in the main race. The race takes place on the cycle path along the Sázava River and includes children’s categories, medals, prizes, and refreshments. The event is suitable for all age groups and has indoor facilities in case of bad weather.
