Běh Březinou v Polné

Běh Březinou in Polná is a traditional running race organized by Běžecký tým Polná and Běžec Vysočiny z.s., held at the football stadium in Polná. The race offers courses for various age categories, from the youngest children to veterans, with the main race covering 9.5 km along field and forest paths through the valley of the Šlapanka River. The race starts at 17:00, and participants can expect a pleasant atmosphere and commemorative prizes for the top finishers in each category. The race has a long tradition, with more than 39 editions since 1992.

Online registration is open until 12:00 on race day. A CZK 1,000 entry-fee season pass can be used. Runners aged 3 and over may take part. Prizes are awarded to the top three in each category, subject to the organizer’s means. Refreshments are available at the clubhouse buffet at the stadium. The race takes place on September 25, 2026. The start and event facilities are in Polná near Jihlava. The routes include various distances and terrain, including the 10.75 km main race and shorter categories.
