24DS (24 Dlouhé Stráně)

24DS is a 24-hour endurance challenge in the unique setting of the Hrubý Jeseník mountains, running from Kouty nad Desnou to the upper reservoir of the Dlouhé Stráně pumped-storage power plant. The race offers stunning views of the Jeseníky Mountains and combines daytime and night running with sunrise and sunset. The demanding route has 820 metres of elevation gain and is 90% trail, and is suitable for solo runners and pairs. The Kouty nad Desnou resort offers comfortable facilities, including restaurants, accommodation and parking.

Registration runs from 1 May 2026 to 30 August 2026, or until capacity is reached. Every participant must have a GPS tracker, which is activated on race day during check-in. The race package includes a cable car voucher for viewing the course. Teammates in pairs may take turns as often as they like. Participants must follow the rules on the course and carry a working mobile phone. The organizer provides maps and marks the route with white spray paint and yellow course markers. At the finish, participants must return their chip and GPS tracker. The race takes place on 3 October 2026, offers accommodation options nearby, and is associated with support for MORAVA FLOW projects.
