24DS (24 Dlouhé Stráně)

The 24DS is a 24-hour endurance challenge in the unique environment of the Hrubý Jeseník mountains, leading from Kouty nad Desnou to the upper reservoir of the Dlouhé Stráně pumped-storage hydroelectric plant. The race offers stunning views of the Jeseníky and combines daytime and nighttime running with sunrise and sunset. The route is demanding, with an elevation gain of 820 meters and 90% trail surface, suitable for individuals and pairs. The Kouty nad Desnou area provides comfortable facilities including restaurants, accommodation, and parking.

Registration runs from May 1, 2026, to August 30, 2026, or until capacity is reached. Each participant must have a GPS tracker, which is activated on race day during check-in. The start package includes a voucher for a cable car ride to view the route. Participants can switch in pairs at will. It is mandatory to follow the rules and have a functioning mobile phone on the route. The organizer provides map materials and marks the route with white spray paint and yellow flags. At the finish line, it is necessary to submit the chip and GPS tracker. The race takes place on October 3, 2026, offers nearby accommodation options, and is associated with supporting the MORAVA FLOW projects.
